Betis Energia Plus Sevilla (Spain-Liga Endesa) is bolstering its roster for the upcoming season with the recent addition of Domen Lorbek (198 cm). He is a 31-year-old Slovenian player who was a former member of his country’s national team from 2005 to 2014. Lorbek spent the last three seasons playing for Turkish club Royal Hali Gaziantep (Turkey-BSL). He parted ways with them in 2015-16 and in February he moved to Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Italy-Serie A). He managed to play 10 games for Cantu and delivered averages of 6.5 ppg and 2.0 rpg. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact he can make for his new team.
