Djordje Pantelic retained by MBC

Djordje Pantelic (204 cm) has gotten a contract extension from Mitteldeutscher BC Weissenfels from Germany’s BBL. The Serbian big man joined the team in the 2012-13 season and averaged 7.2 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 34 games off MBC’s bench.

In 2011-12 he started the season playing for KK Hemofarm Stada Vrsac (Serbia-A League) but only stayed for the pre-season. He moved to Falco-Szova KC-Szombathely from Hungary’s A Division and there he averaged 13.0 ppg and 9.0 rpg in 38 games. Pantelic helped his team finish as the Hungarian League Regular Season Champions and reach all the way to Finals in 2012.
