Devin Martin heading to Sampaense Basket

Devin Martin (193 cm, Md E-Shore ’16) has been signed by Sampaense Basket (Portugal-LPB). This will be the beginning of Martin’s professional career since graduating last season. The guard will be heading to a team who was recently promoted to the LPB from Proliga this season. Currently, Sampaense is sitting in last place of the LPB standings with a 1-15 record. Martin will add a scoring threat for his new team. In his senior year, he averaged 16.6ppg with 4.8rpg and 2.1apg. His strong play led to him being named to the All-MEAC 2nd Team.

Prior to playing for East Shore, Martin started his college career at Monroe College in Bronx, NY. His time was spent there from 2012-2014 and he started the majority of the 2013/2014 season. After two years there, he transferred for his junior season and he started right away at East Shore.
