Derrick Nix added by Energa Czarni

Nix (206 cm, Michigan State’13) will continue his professional career this 2015/16 as a member of Energa Czarni Slupsk (Poland-TBL).  The 24-year-old Nix spent his 2014/15 season playing for Entente Orleans 45 (France-Pro A). In 16 games he posted averages of 9.7 ppg and 3.9 rpg. He was released by the team in February 2015.

In 2013/14  Derrick played in three leagues for VEF Riga and delivered some solid performances. In the VTB United League Nix averaged 12.5 ppg and 6.1 rpg. He then played 10 games for the club in the Eurocup and managed averages of 7.4 ppg and 4.8 rpg. In the domestic Latvian LBL Derrick logged 10 games and was able to average 14.3 ppg and 5.5 rpg.
