Derek Thomas back to Caborca

Derek Thomas (193 cm, Appalachian State’05) has linked up with Mineros de Caborca (Mexico, CIBACOPA) for the remainder of this season. The American has already made his debut for the franchise and in his opening game he offered 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. This is his first post of the season, although the forward did pre-season with Mexican LNBP outfit Gigantes Tuluca.

Through the 2013/2014 season, Derek Thomas also featured for Caborca and through that stint he played thirteen games and posted solid numbers of 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. He has spent much of his career in the Mexican Basketball system, but has also played in the USA.
