Hapoel Eilat (Israel-Winner League) is bolstering its roster for the 2017-18 season with the signing of Denzel Bowles (208 cm, JMU’11). This is a big change for the forward from James Madison University, who has spent the last few seasons mostly playing in Asia, interspersed with a few stints in Latin America. This 2017, Bowles played three games for the Vaqueros de Bayamon (Puerto Rico-BSN) and averaged 2.0 ppg and 1.7 rpg. He left the team in May. His 2016-17 was a brief one, originally signing with Al Naser Dubai (United Arab Emirates-D1). In January he landed with Al Moutahed Tripoli (Lebanon-Pepsi LBL). Denzel played two games there and registered averages of 17.5 ppg and 7.0 rpg.
