Denzel Bowles heads to Philippines

Denzel Bowles (208 cm, James Madison University´11) has decided to join the roster at Purefoods Star Hotshots (Philippines, PBA) for the season. The American has been suiting up in the Chinese CBA this season for Jilin Northeast Tigers and over 41 games he was in impressive form. The power forward has put together near double-double averages for the campaign so far, notching 22.4 points and 9.2 rebounds per appearance for the Tigers.

Through the 2013/2014 season Denzel Bowles featured for Jilin once again and over 33 games he was hot with 25.8 points and 8.8 boards per contest. The 25-year old has flirted with the NBA on numerous occasions, but has never quite cracked it.
