DeJuan Collins leaves Samara

DeJuan Collins (188 cm, Tuskegee’99) has not been picked up by Krasnie Krilya Samara (Russia, PBL, VTB United League, EuroChallenge) for next season. The American joined Samara in March of this year and finished the season by playing in 6 PBL games, 2 EuroChallenge games, and 7 VTB United Games. The guard managed to secure averages of 2.0ppg and 1.0rpg in the VTB League but did better from his 2 EuroChallenge appearances with 11.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.

During the 2011/2012 season DeJuan Collins played with Zalgris Kaunas from Lithuania’s LKL where he featured in 15 games in the VTB League and offered averages of 3.5ppg and 1.5rpg.
