Darryl Watkins moves to ASVEL

Darryl Watkins (211 cm, Syracuse’07) will continue his pro ball career this 2015/16 with ASVEL Lyon-Villeubanne Basket (France-Pro A). Watkins isn’t travelling far, having played in the same league last season. He played for Champagne Chalon-Reims Basket (France-Pro A) in 2014/15. Darryl logged a total of 34 games for his former club and averaged 11.9 ppg and 7.8 rpg.

In 2013/14 the big man played for Belgian team Belgacom Spirou Charleroi (Scooore League). He played 10 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 11.2 ppg and 6.4 rpg. In the domestic Belgian league Watkins averaged 10.5 ppg and 5.9 rpg in 39 games.
