Darrun Hilliard to play for Baskonia

 Darrun Hilliard (198 cm, Villanova’15) is Europe-bound after securing a deal to play for Spanish club Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa) this 2018.

Hilliard spent 2017-18 back home in the U.S., splitting time with the San Antonio Spurs and their G-League affiliate, the Austin Spurs. He played 14 games for the San Antonio Spurs but saw very little usage off the bench and averaged 1.1 ppg and 0.8 apg in just over six minutes per game.

He saw better success in the G-League, where he impressed with averages of 20.5 ppg and 3.7 apg over a 40-game spread.
