Darren Moore heads to Italy

Darren Moore (190 cm, Cal-Irvine’11) has been picked up by Madogas Natural Energy BNB (Italy, Lega Due Silver) and will join the team for the 2013/2014 season. The guard finished last campaign in Georgia where he played for Superleague team Olimpi Tbilisi and averaged 13.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.0 steal per game over ten appearances.

Earlier in the season the American was on the roster at the Santa Cruz Warriors but was released before having any significant game time. During the 2011/2012 season Darren Moore played for Factum Sport Debrecen (Hungary, A Division) where he played seven games and averaged 15.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.

The 24-year old has found consistent runs of games hard to come by so far in his career, and he will no doubt hope to enjoy a spell in Italy with BNB.
