Damien Wilkins signed by Mayaguez

Damien Wilkins (201 cm, Georgia’04) is set to continue his professional career in Puerto Rico as he is signed by Indios de Mayaguez this 2014. The former NBA swingman most recently played in China this 2013-14 season for the Shougang Beijing Ducks. Wilkins appeared in 13 games for the Beijing Ducks after signing with them in December 2013 and produced averages of 21.2 ppg, 4.8 rpg and 3.1 apg.

Damien played for the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2012-13 season. He delivered averages of 6.5 ppg and 1.8 in 60 games for Philly. After that, he made the Atlanta Hawks training camp in September 2013. When that didn’t pan out for him, he headed to China to join the Ducks.
