Crvena Zvezda Belgrade

Crvena Zvezda Belgrade continued to hold an unbreakable grip on the Adriatic League (ABA) on Saturday. The reigning champions are in a golden period and has lost just a hand full of games in the last three season. Indeed, so far, this term Crvena Zvezda remains undefeated after taking out Igokea Aleksandrovac 68-77 on the road this week.

The win means the current two-time title holders continue to cruise through the regular season, now with a formidable 19-0 record. Nearest opponent and great rival, Partizan Belgrade, is on 15-4.

As mentioned, Crvena Zvezda Belgrade is truly in a golden period. The club has often been in the shadow of Partizan, but in recent years things have changed. Crvena Zvezda is now on course to win a third consecutive Adriatic League, Serbian League, and is one of the surprise packages in the year’s Euroleague season.
