Christopher Hayes signs with Franca

Christopher Hayes (206 cm, Detroit Mercy’09) has signed a deal that lands him with Vivo/Franca Basquete Sao Paulo from Brazil’s NBB. Hayes, who has had extensive experience playing in South American leagues, is coming from playing the 2012-13 season for Atletico Aguada from Uruguay’s LUB. He played 26 games for Aguada and averaged 16.3 ppg and 9.0 rpg.

In 2011-12 Hayes played for Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, also from Brazil’s NBB. He played 24 games in the Brazilian league and averaged 5.8 ppg and 2.1 rpg. He played two games in Liga Sudamericana that season and put up averages of 2.5 ppg and 2.5 rpg.
