Christian Burns heads to CEZ Nymburk

Christian Burns (203 cm, Philadelphia’07) is set to join Czech powerhouse CEZ Nymburk (NBL) this 2014-15 season. The 28-year-old forward spent the 2013-14 season playing for Enisey Krasnoyarsk (Russia-VTB). He was able to play 20 games for the Russian team and he produced averages of 14.6 ppg and 5.3 rpg in the VTB United league.

In 2012-13 Burns played for Sutor Montegranaro from Italy’s Serie A. He was able to average 14.9 ppg and 7.0 rpg in 30 games for them. He parted ways with the team, but it was not completely amicable with Christian needing to seek arbitration at the BAT for unpaid salaries during his stint with the team.
