Byron Wesley (196 cm, Gonzaga’15) has agreed to terms on a deal to play for Bulgarian powerhouse Lukoil Academic Sofia (Bulgaria-NBL) this 2017-18. Wesley played for two teams in 2016-17, initially beginning the season with Joensuun Kataja Basket (Finland-Korisliiga). He played six games for them in the Basketball Champions League where he averaged 15.2 ppg and 7.0 rpg. In six games in the domestic Finnish League, Byron posted averages of 17.5 ppg and 5.8 rpg. In December 2016 he moved to MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (Poland-TBL). He logged 23 games for the Polish club and averaged 10.8 ppg and 3.1 rpg.
