Brion Rush to play for Azad

Brion Rush (186 cm, Grambling State’06) will continue his pro career this 2016 with Azad Unversity Tehran (Iran-Superleague). Rush is a 31-year-old American player who also holds a Montenegrin passport. Rush was set to play the 2015-16 season for Montakit Fuenlabrada (Spain-Liga Endesa). In December 2015 Brion signed a deal to play for KK Sutjeska Niksic (Montenegro-Erste Liga). He played seven games for them in the Adriatic league and averaged 8.4 ppg and 1.7 apg. He left the team in February 2016.

In 2014-15 he spent some time with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Lebanon-Division A). In February 2015 he headed to Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany-BBL), where he played 21 games and averaged 9.9 ppg and 2.1 apg.
