Ben Hansbrough added by Laboral Kutxa

Ben Hansbrough (190 cm, Notre Dame’11) is being brought in by Laboral Kutxa Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa) to help the club deal with their recent run-in with the injury bug. The 27-year-old Hansbrough’s 2014/15 season began with him being waived by the Chicago Bulls in October. He then moved to the Grand Rapids Drive from the NBA D-League where he was able to play seven games before being released this December. Ben averaged 8.0 ppg and 2.6 apg during his brief run.

He is not unfamiliar with the premier Spanish league. In the 2013/14 season he played for Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014. In 32 games he posted averages of 11.0 ppg and 2.4 apg.
