Austin Freeman joins Titanes Licey

Austin Freeman (192 cm, Georgetown’11) is a recent addition to the Titanes Del Licey (Dominican Republic-LNB) this 2015. The 25-year-old Freeman played for a couple of Italian clubs this 2014/15 season. He began the season playing for Upea Capo d’Orlando (Italy-Serie A). Freeman played 18 games for the team and averaged 15.3 ppg and 3.4 rpg. In February 2015 the player transferred to Virtus Acea Roma. In 11 games Austin posted averages of 7.9 ppg and 2.6 rpg.

In 2013/14 Austin started off with Maccabi Ashdod (Israel-Winner League) where he played six games and averaged 11.2 ppg and 1.8 rpg. He moved to the NBA D-League where he signed with the Iowa Energy and in 43 games delivered averages of 11.3 ppg and 2.5 rpg.
