Austen Rowland moves to Orchesien

Austen Rowland (186 cm, Lehigh’04) has signed for the 2013/2014 season with Orchesien BC of the French ProB. The American has been playing in France since 2010 and this season he played with SO Maritime Boulogne (ProB) where in 31 games he averaged 12.3ppg, 2.7rpg, and 6.0apg. The point guard will now join with an Orchesien team that gained promotion to the ProB this season by finishing top of the NM1 standings.

31-year old Austen Rowland played with ALM Evreux (ProB) last season and in 37 games he logged averages of 14.4ppg, 3.3rpg, and a joint fourth best in the league for assists with 5.4 per game. Other than playing France, Rowland also played extensively in the German BBL with Ratiopharm Ulm, LTi Giessen, and TBB Trier.
