Augie Johnston moves to Sparta

Augie Johnston (185 cm, Cal State-Monterey’12) has switched teams and is now with BBC Sparta Bertrange (Luxembourg-Total League) this 2015. Johnston played the 2014/15 season for BBC Bascharage Hedgehogs (Luxembourg-N2). He played 14 games for them and averaged 24.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg. The team finished as the Luxembourg Nationale 2 runner-up in 2015. Johnston’s strong play during the season won him a spot in the Luxembourg N2 All-Star game in 2015.

His 2013/14 season was spent with the Cuxhaven BasCats from Germany’s Pro A league. He played 29 games for them and averaged 9.4 ppg and 2.0 rpg.
