Amere May joins Mons-Hainaut

Amere May (190 cm, Delaware State’15) will continue his rookie season as pro playing in Europe after signing a deal with Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Belgium-Scooore League). He was originally slated to begin his career with La Briosa Barcellona (Italy-Serie A2), but left the club before the season began. In January 2016 May landed a stint with Ferrocaril Oeste Capital Federal (Argentina-Liga A). Amere was able to play 14 games for his former club and recorded averages of 10.7 ppg and 1.1 apg. He was released in February 2016.

In his senior year at Delaware State Amere averaged 21.0 ppg and 4.2 rpg in 32 games. He was also named to the All-MEAC 1st Team in 2015.
