Aloysius Anagonye signs with Ilysiakos

Nigerian big man Aloysius Anagonye (203 cm, Michigan State’03) has signed in Greece with Ilysiakos. The team is currently having a hard time with a 1-9 record in the Greek Championship. Anagonye is a very experienced player who played in various countries and leagues, including the Euroleague. Last season he played in Spain (both ACB and LEB). He was a four-year member of the Michigan State Spartans, where he carried a career scoring average of 5.7ppg and 4.4rpg over 133 games. His senior year he averaged 7.4ppg and 5.3rpg. As a freshman, the Spartans won the NCAA National Championship and made it to the Final Four the next season before being ousted from the tournament by Arizona, who lost to Duke in the Championship.
