Alex Renfroe to Brose Baskets Bamberg

Alex Renfroe (191 cm, Belmont’09) is set to sign with Brose Baskets Bamberg from Germany’s BBL. The 26-year-old Renfroe began the 2012-13 season playing for Blancos De Rueda Valladolid from Spain’s ACB. He was able to log 22 games for Valladolid and average 10.3 ppg and 4.5 apg.

He spent the 2011-12 season playing in Italy’s Lega 2 for Enel Brindisi. There he played 38 games and averaged 12.5 ppg and 3.6 apg. In 2012 Enel Brindisi was the Italian Lega Due Playoffs Champion and the Italian Lega Due Cup Winner.

Brose Baskets Bamberg are currently in a solid position, dominating the BBL standings with a record of 21-2.
