Alex Oriakhi jumps to Hapoel Holon

Alex Oriakhi

Alex Oriakhi (206 cm, Missouri’13) is already making a move in his rookie season as a professional. The big man is transferring to Hapoel Holon from Israel’s Winner League after briefly playing for Limoges CSP Elite from France’s ProA. In four games as a pro Oriakhi put up humble averages of 2.8 ppg and 1.8 rpg. Perhaps the change in scenery will do his numbers some good. As a rookie he is expected to go through ups and downs and hopefully he can find his stride with the Israeli club which is currently in the middle of the pack in the Winner League with a 3-2 record.

In his senior year at Missouri Alex averaged 11.4 ppg and 8.2 rpg. He was also previously a member of the 2011 NCAA Champions, Connecticut, in 2010-11  and he averaged 9.6 ppg and 8.6 rpg.
