Alex Harris signs with Walter Tigers

Alex Harris (196 cm, UCSB’08) has signed with the Walter Tigers Tuebingen from Germany’s BBL for the upcoming 2013-14 season. The 27-year-old Harris is making a transition from another BBL team, Eisbaeren Bremerhaven. The Walter Tigers will be his third team in four seasons playing in Germany.

In 2012-13 Harris averaged 7.7 ppg and 2.3 rpg in 26 games for Bremerhaven. Before joining Bremerhaven, he spent two seasons playing for EnBW Ludwigsburg, also from Germany’s BBL. In 2011-12  he logged averages of 12.4 ppg and 2.7 rpg in 32 games. In 2011 Harris was selected as a participant in the German Bundesliga All-Star Game.
