Alex Acker headed to ASVEL

Alex Acker (196 cm, Pepperdine’05) is moving teams. He is slated to join ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket from France’s ProA. He is playing in his final game as a member of Boulazac Basket Dordogne, also from ProA. ASVEL is already locked into the post-season, while Boulazac is a game away from being relegated. In nine games for Boulazac Acker averaged 14.8 ppg and 4.2 rpg.

Before joining Boulazac in February 2013, Acker played for Asseco Prokom Gdynia from Poland’ TBL. Acker played eight games in the TBL and averaged 8.1 ppg and 2.8 rpg. He also played nine games for Asseco Prokom in the Euroleague and averaged 6.3 ppg and 2.7 rpg.
