The Walter Tigers Tuebingen (Germany-BBL) have named Aleksandar Nadjfeji as their new head coach for the 2018-19 season. At just 42-years of age, Nadjfeji is one of the younger coaches not only in the German League but in all of Europe. He has been a coaching assistant with the team since 2016 when he retired as a player. Overall, Nadjfeji has been with the Walter Tigers organization since 2013 so there has been a long-standing relationship between him and the team. A youthful and fresh perspective on the game will be something the fans can look forward to. He will have a lot of eyes trained on him and we will see if he is up to the task of taking the helm of a basketball team in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
