Aleksandar Maric returns to Obradoiro

Aleksandar Maric (211 cm, Nebraska’08) will suit up for Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro CAB (Spain-Liga Endesa) this season. The Australian is heading to the club after a stint with the Sydney Kings in the Australian NBL this campaign. Over 28 games, Aleksandar Maric logged averages of 5.4 points and 4.7 rebounds per appearance.

This is actually his return to Obradoiro as he played for the team last term. The center is a seasoned operator in European hoops and has previously played in Montengro, Spain, Turkey, Israel, Russia, and Greece. He has played for some Europe’s big clubs, such as Gran Canaria, Panathinaikos Athens, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar, and Galatasaray Istanbul.
