Adam Hrycaniuk signs with Valencia

Adam Hrycaniuk (206 cm, Cincinatti’08) has penned a deal with Spanish ACB team Valencia Basket until the end of the season. Hrycaniuk joins from the financially troubled Asseco Prokom Gdynia in his native Poland where he has played 25 Polish League games and averaged 10.0ppg and 6.8rpg this season. Prokom is one of the giants of the European game so Hrycaniuk also saw Euroleague action this season and over 10 games he averaged 9.0ppg and 5.3rpg.

Joining Valencia will mark a major change in the career of Adam Hrycaniuk as he has played for Prokom since turning pro in 2008. Playing in Spain with Valencia will be the 29-year old center’s first time playing outside Asseco Prokom and outside of Poland as a pro.
