Quinterian McConico was the MVP of Alabama A&M in his senior season and led his team in four statistical categories (scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and Field Goal percentage). He was also a pre-season 2nd team All-SWAC selection. McConico ranked 1st in the conference in Field Goal Percentage, 5th in rebounding and 9th in scoring. He also had the 4th highest Player Efficiency Rating in the conference. Only played 18 games in his junior year due to a problem with his certification process that made him sit out the first semester. His GPA and hours had not been calculated properly. Quinterian McConico is a strong player who knows how to post up and make himself a big target. He is efficient at rolling off to the basket after a pick and roll and is excellent in transition. He also has a soft touch around the bucket to keep the defense honest.
