He is an excellent shotblocker and defender and can score with an array of moves around the basket. He is also able to face up and hit the mid-range jumper. Björn runs the floor well in transition and has an excellent feel for the game. Through great defensive positioning he seems to always be ahead of the play by one step and create an advantage in rebounding. Of course his leaping ability (81 cm vertical) also helps. Björn is a smart player, always plays hard, and would be an excellent addition to many teams. After coming out of 2nd division NCAA College (Northern State) Björn joined the renowned basketball program of Tus Lichterfelde (TusLi) in 2006. TusLi is the co-operation partner of ALBA Berlin.
