| Good. Quick. Plays with a lot of heart. Led the SEC in assists and was the NCAA's leading rebounder among pointguards. A true pointguard who knows how to set his teammates up. Never was a big scorer, but can get that job done as well. Primary skills is setting up plays and finding the open teammate. Good defender with real good size at the PG position. Rebounds very well for a PG, and gets out in transition. Brewer came out of Auburn in 2001 as an early candidate (only 20 years old) and got drafted in the 2nd round (nr.41) by the Indiana Pacers. He has since then spent 4 years in the NBA, before he took his game outside of the US, and has showed his skills in various leagues around the world. High level player with excellent experience. Has a 203 cm wingspan (measured at Court Side's Pro Camp 2010 in Las Vegas). Despite getting limited playing-time in the Ukraine and sometimes playing out of position, Brewer was leading the league in assists per minute and rebounds per minute among guards. He was also second in the league in steals per minute. |
