At 2.07 meters he will shoot over and post up the oponentīs SFs and will outrun any PF. Sven has the type of strong physique that helps him dominate big oponents on the defensive end, yet is agile enough to defend smaller ones. Facing up he can shoot the mid range jumper, and can turn around any game with his three point shooting ability. Throughout the past years he has been able to knock down many threes in a variety of ways: spotting up, rolling out after a P&R, high-low exchanges, or coming off (baseline) picks. He is especially dangerous in fast break situations being able to sprint with the speed of a point guard and finishing strong either dunking on people or pulling up for (long range) jumpers. Has improved his passing skills along the way averaging 1.6 assist p/g in the 2004/05 season. Sven has made a name for himself during his years with ALBA Berlin/TusLichterfelde. There, under the tutalage of Svetislav Pesic and Muki Mutapcic, he developed into one of the more promising German players. He hit the weightroom, practiced longer than anybody else, learned the game, and earned himself a spot on the German national team. In 2005 he broke onto the international scene showing with Milan what he can do on the club level and with the national team during the 2005 Euro Championships in Belgrade winning the silver medal. With his incredibly relentless work ethic he looks to improve his game every minute of every practice and is a coachīs dream. He will fight to the end and never give up.
