| Tremmell is a (small) forward who can play both positions without any problem. He's an explosive scorer with having a nice touch on his shot as well. Came to Niagara University after attending Las Vegas High School as a relatively unknown player. Niagara Head Coach Joe Mihalich helped him to become the player he's today. Made a lot of progress throughout his career for the Purple Eagles. In his senior year, Niagara lost to Nebraska in the second round of the National Invitational Tournement after beating Troy State in the first round. Niagara qualified for the N.I.T. after losing the MAAC Tournement final to Manhattan (62-61) and finished the season with an impressive 22 to 9 record. Tremmell did get national attention because of his performances in his senior year and got invited for the Los Angeles Clippers Summer Camp. Tremmell is an incredible leaper for his size and an crowd-pleaser because of that. Unbelievable in the open court because of his speed and quickness. Has very good one-on-one skills in offense and likes to drive to the hoop. Because of his outside shooting ability (37,3% 3-pointers in his senior year in college), he's difficult to defend. Good ballhandler passer. Cat-quick defender, using his body and hands very well. Has good lateral footspeed and overall quickness. Can play defense on different positions because of that. Superb athlete! Complete type of player who's expected has been showing his tremendous upside and potential in Europe for the last 2 seasons! Was voted First Team All Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Had a very good rookie season overseas playing in Turkey. Moved to Belgium (Leuven) and had a very good season for Spirou Charleroi afterwards. Known for his high-caliber defense! Great teamplayer who can compete at the highest level in Europe. Tremendous person! ULEB Cup stats 2007-2008: 10 games; 14,1 ppg (49/87 2-pts = 56,1% - 9/28 3-pts = 32,1% - 16/28 FT = 57,1%), 5,1 rpg, 1,5 apg, 1,1 stpg, 2,1 topg. Won the Belgian championship with Charleroi on May 31, 2008. |
