| David Jandl is a very able point guard with good overall skills and fundamentals and huge upside. He has extremely quick feet and hands and he is one of very few PGs who can move both quickly at the same time. He has very strong, good composure and leadership qualities. David has many offensive weapons and chooses one depending on what the defense gives him. He can pull up for the jumper at any time, can shoot the (deep) three or get by and in for a lay up. He is so extremely quick that he can pass his oponent right and left when he wants to. Once in the lane he is not afraid to mix it up with the big guys either going for the lay-up or the assist. Deadly shooter! David finished the 04/05 campaign in Austria with a 50,8% 3pt shooting percentage which was tops in the entire league. In addition he shot 87,2% from the charity stripe. He led Oberwart to winning the cup in 2005. David is a born leader on the court and leads by example giving his all on the defensive end also. David is the starting point guard for the Austrian National Team. He was chosen in the 1st team all Austria for the 2004/05 season and also was chosen Austrian player of the year. Made the jump to the German Bundesliga but was only used sparcely in Giessen. Went back to Austria en halfway the 2007/08 season joined Gijon in the LEB Gold.. |
