Can post up left block and right block. Good shot (also threes). Can defend centers and bigger powerforwards. Great intensity. Incredibly strong. Has seen and done it all: German National Team, 4th at the European Championships, 3rd at the World Championships, Euroleague, NEBL, Bundesliga, Greece (3 yrs). With his incredible size advantage it is hard for opponents to push Stephen away from where he wants to go. He uses this advantage (a lean 121 kg) both on defense and on offense very well. After beating up on people on the inside he can step out and shoot the three with the best of them. He led Cologne and was third in the german league in 3point%, shooting a blistering 29 for 58 during the 2002/2003 season! Stephen went to Italy (Roseto) for the 2004/05 season and showed again there that he contributes at the highest level. In no small way did he have a hand in Roseto making the playoffs for the first time in team history. He is currently a member of the German National Team. Most recently he won the silver medal in the European Championships in Belgrade 2005.
