A very smart and controlled player that plays within his limits. Is a great defensive player on both inside positions, using great footwork and his mobile body to perfection. Very vocal player that helps his team out alot that way on the defensive end. Offensivly talanted with a great right hand hook from the post, as well as a consistent mid-range jumper. Soft touch around the basket. Rebounds well at both ends of the floor, and works well for position. A very good passer for a big man, good court vision and finds the open man, passes well out of the double team and makes good decisions. Huge wingspan that changes alot of shots. A hardworking player. Originally signed for Wichita St, but transfed to Iowa Western Community College before ending up at the Tulsa campus for his junior and senior season, on a wellbalanced Tulsa team, Walls was the teams 3rd leading scorer while beeing 2nd in rebounding and shotblocking. Tulsa had a very good season his senior year, going to the finals in the C-USA Tournament, loosing only to Derrick Rose's Memphis (Who went all the way to the Final Four), Tulsa finished the season of by winning the College Basketball Invitational, where Calvin played a huge role for the team throughout the tournament. Fits well in to the european style of play, and is eager to start his overseas career. Participated in Court Sides Pro Camp in Frankfurt in July 2008 where he showed his skills, finished tied third in camp in rebounding.
