| Kenneth just finished his college career at Ohio University. The left-handed center had an extremely succesfull senior year in college after winning the Mid American Conference by beating Akron, to qualify for the NCAA tournement. In the first round, the Bobcats, seeded at nr. 14 in their bracket, came up with an impressive upset over Maryland U. which was seeded 3rd: 97-83. In the following round, the final 32, Ohio lost to Tennessee, 83-68, which was later on knocked out in the final 8. Kenneth was a very important contributor for the Bobcats because of his defensive presence in the middle, ability to rebound at both ends of the floor (was among the top rebounders in the conference), passing skills from the high and low post and mobility. Physical in defense, likes to make contact andhas a very good understanding of the game. Double majored in biology and economics in college, an impressive fact itself which should tell a lot about the person behind the player. Was a college teammate of Leon Williams (this season with Erdemir (Turkey) and Jerome Tillman (this season in Pro A, France, with Chalon-Sur-Saone). Was a member of the Dutch National U-20 team in 2007 for which he averaged 8,7 ppg and 5,4 rpg in 7 games of play in the European Championships. Played also for the Dutch U-18 team before that. Extremely smart and coachable player with nice upside! |
