Due to his experience and agility he is a very good defender coming up with steals all the time. Offensively he is hard to guard. slava is extremely dangerous from beyond the 3point line, but is able to put the ball on the floor as well. In addition he is a very good passer and will pass up an open 3 when a teammate is open at a better position. His unselfishness and ability to put up big numbers have made him a liked player with teammates and fans alike. During the 2006/07 season Slava saw limited playing time with Bremerhaven but still put up very good nembers per minute. The season before he just flat out performed for Bundeliga team Nürnberg.
