Plays with a lot of court vision. Has a great understanding of the game! Has very good passing skills, knows how to finds the open man and has the knack to get everybody involved offensively. Excellent ballhandler who deals with any possession in a smooth and economic way. Very good defender on/off the ball! Isn't a real scorer but being left open he will hit it from any distance outside. Creative in offense with a good drive to the hoop to dish or score. Has a real PG mentality, will look for his teammates first before for himself. Very good outside shooter with unlimited range based on a very good te chenique. Is married, no kids. Won the Dutch Cup Final against Groningen in March 2007 and took his team to the finals of the Dutch Play-Offs as well in which they lost to Eiffel Towers/Den Bosch. After coming out of college in 2001, Ryan played on several occassions with Athletes in Action, a religion Touring Team, wordl wide (India, Centeal Asia, France etc.). Has been playing in the ABA (Kansas Ciy Knights)as well throughout the last couple of years. Coming out of college, he participated in the Portsmourh Invitational Tournement before joining the Atlanta Hawks in the Shaw Pro Summer League in Boston.
