At powerhouse Ohio State Je'kel was the second leading scorer his senior year and shot a blistering 40% three's. His first year as a pro he was again the second leading scorer of German Bundesliga surprise team Ludwigsburg (runner up after the regular season) as he shared 2-guard and point guard duties. Then the 2007/08 season Je'kel led his Paris based team in scoring while shooting again 40% three's. All in all it must be said that Je'kel is a winner. With a wide range of well trained skills, Je'kel is a nightmare to guard for his oponents. With great athleticism, excellent ball handling skills, and that deadly three point shot, it is imposible for his adversary to pick an asset of Je'kel's game to eliminate.. ..because he will punish you with another. In addition he is a very unselfish player. Je'kel will hit his teammates when they are open, which explains why he led Paris in assists as well and had over a 100 assist over the course of the season in Germany. In the Ohio State program as well as under coach Poropat (Ludwigsburg) Je'kel has also developed into a first class defender shutting down oposing guards on a regular basis earning him 1st team All Big Ten defensive team in 2006. In the end Je'kel already has all the tools to play at the highest levels and will continue to improve as seasons go by.
