A allround player on the offensive end that uses his athleticism and explosiveness well attacking the rim and getting to the basket where he finishes strongly. Has a very explosive first step and will blow past defenders, especially if playing the four, he can take his man out on the floor and beat him of the dribble. A solid threepointshooter that will punish defenses that leaves him open. A true winner and a real competitor that hates to loose and will give his 110% effort every night on the floor. Rebounds very well for his position, using his excellent vertical leap and athleticism. Good defender, especially out on the floor, that will get his share of steals. McGowan started out his college-career at Junior College Kilgore in Texas, before joining the Cincinatti Bearcats in the Big East Conference for his junior and senior season. Did well in his role in his team in the tough BEC. McGowan enjoyed a individually good rookie-year in Europe playing for Kauhajoki in Finland and is ready to move on to the next step in his career.
