| Former member of the French National U16 and U18 Teams. Played at the prestigious Reebok Eurocamp in Treviso in 2003. After leaving Nancy as a junior, Rodrigue Mels enjoyed a tremendous college career. A 6’3, 215 pound combo guard, Rodrigue has a huge competitive heart, and the kind of offensive versatility that makes him a valuable addition to any professional team. Over the past four years, 2 in junior college (Midland, Texas, where he averaged 14.8 ppg) and 2 at the NCAA division 1 level (Cal state Northridge) Rodrigue’s teams finished first in their respective leagues. During that time, Mels was twice named MVP: In 2007 he was named the National Junior College Tourney’s Most Valuable player, and in 2009, Rodrigue was named Most Valuable player of the Big West conference Tournament.
