He's more a scorer than a shooter who can play at the shooting guard as well, even being 6'7. Moves very well without the ball and is able to beat his man one-on-one. Extremely athletic. Decent outside shooter, with 3-point range. Good defender, however not in a physical way. He is a threat to steal the ball with his quick hands and feet. he is smart, coachable, a team player and has great work athic. Positions well in defense. Very creative in offense. Has a real nice (turnaround) jumpshot. Can really score when necessary. Very difficult to stop because of his quickness and athletic ability. Clutch player. Has an excellent attitude and he will have a very bright future in Europe. Was voted MVP of the Dutch league in 1999. Became MVP of the Belgian league in 2002 and the Belgian Play-Offs. Won 2 consecutive titles in Belgium (2001 & 2002). Obtained his Belgian passport on June 30, 2005, which givess him a, as so called, Bosman-A status. Played for Liege (2003-'04) while being under contract with Charleroi. Ralph was "loaned" to Liege because he was still considered as a foreigner at that time, waiting for his Belgian passport. Charleroi did have 2 (other) foreigners (U.S.) under contract at that stage as well. Won the Belgian Cup with Liege during that season. Has been playing for Spirou Charleroi since then. Considered as one of the best Bosman-A players in Belgium. Great personality! Has a lot of European experience under his belt and knows the drill. Capable of playing at any level in Europe.
