Great scorer and rebounder for his position. Knows how to use his size, strength and back to the basket technicals to take advantage of smaller defenders in the low-post area. Has a deadly outside jumper with range to about 20 gfeet. Attacks the basket with agressivity. Very talented player. Good ballhandler who plays the game with a lot of confidence. He has good athleticism. Is known as a real professional & being a true gentleman off the floor. Very coachable player. During the month of being a "medical replacement player" with ASVEL Villeurbanne, Steve played 3 times more than 10 minutes. He scored 14 pts (4 for 5 three's) in 19 minutes vs the former table-leader of the Pro A, Chalon sur Saone, and 10 points in 11 minutes vs Hyeres-Toulon in the Pro A championship.Played at the 3-spot at the start of the season in Weert but moved to the 4-spot throughout the season due to a change of conception in the team. Played very well in general and especially against the Dutch topteams like Amsterdam and Den Bosch.
