| Mitchel is the former starting point of the Dutch National Junior team. Is from the Southwest of Holland and was a valuable member of the AJAX Youth basketball program in Oostende, Belgium, for 3 years. Was signed by Cape Holland/Den Helder in the Dutch Pro League as a very talented back-up of an American PG in the summer of 2005. Did prove himself from the start by averaging close to 10 minutes per game in 11 games until the Christmas break. Is a quick silver PG with an outstanding attitude. Very coachable while having a good understanding of the game. One of the best PG in Holland in his age category. Was born in 1987 and has tremendous upside. Very eager to become better. Has good speed and quickness in defense. Good distributor and a nice passer. Has an eye for the open man and has good timing to feed people in offense. Good outside shooter with nice touch and form on his shot. Has the upside and potential to become a toplevel PG. Was forced to leave Cape Holland/Den Helder due to the bankruptcy of the club early January 2.006. Signed right away with OmniWorld/Almere until the end of the season (2005-2006) and the following season (2006-2007). Played the past 2 seasons for Den Helder (2007-2009) before signing with Upstairs/Weert. |
