| Darnell has been playing at the power forward position in college most of the time. Converted to the small forward position as well throughout his first season overseas. Is the ultimate 3/4 type of player who can do a lot of different things on the floor. Is a very good athlete who runs the floor well. Can play outside/inside. Is able to shoot from 20 feet and it, while also posting up well. Improved a lot at Landstede/ Zwolle (The Netherlands) in his first season overseas. Has to improve his consistency and range on his shot. Good rebounder at both ends of the floor, active on the glass in general. Very mobile player. Can play defense on both forward positions which makes him valuable for the overseas markets. Great individual! Coachable player who has very nice upside and potential. Was the regular season leading scorer in the Dutch league in 2008. Made very good process at Matrixx Magixx/Nijmegen throughout the 2008-2009 where he played almost strictly at the 3-spot. High energy player who had an outstanding season in the Belgian league for Verviers-Pepinster! |
