Is a monster on the boards at both ends of the floor, and fights for every rebound and loose ball. Lead the finnish league in rebounds per game during the 2006-2007 season with a 12,2 average. Marcus is a very smart player that doesn't make many mistakes and never forces shots. Is a capable scorer in the post if given the ball, but there's still lot of room to improve his offensive game, which he will do in time. A much above average passer for a big-man, and has good eyes for the open man when playing in the post. Handles the ball very well for a big man, and actually did play the PG position (brining the ball up against pressure defense and so on, because of his very good ballhandling skills) at times when playing at Marquette when their starting PG was injured. Is a good creator, for both himself and his teammates. A good defensive player that can keep his man out of scoring position, and his presence in the paint changes lots of shots. Marcus played for Marquette University in the Big East conference, and averaged 8 rebounds in the very though conference during his senior year, and has improved his game year-by-year during his seasons overseas so far. A young and hungry player that is eager to improve and will help any team out with his warrior-game. Played at Court Side Pro Camp in Frankfurt July 2007, lead the tournament in FG% (74%) while beeing among the best rebounders in the camp. Signed with Plannja in Sweden for the 2007-2008 season and started the season very well beeing one of the best players in the swedish league before a season ending knee-injury (ACL) occured. Had a succesfull surgery on his knee and recovered well, beeing ready to continue his career.
