| Jeroen is a legit 7-footer who is originally from the youth program in Rotterdam. While being 16 years old, he joined the "Kadets" of Antibes in France for one full season. Afterthat, he went to Los Angeles where he played for Stoneridge Highschool Prep (Sunny Valley). This past season he was active for a highly regarding junior college program in the U.S. named Indian Hills Community College (Ottunwa, Iowa; D1). Jeroen is a skilled big man who can play facing the basket without any problem. Has a nice bodyframe and runs the floor well for his size. Active player. Needs to improve his strength a little. Member of the Dutch National U-20 team. Has nice potential & upside. Because of that a very promising prospect. Has signed a three year contract with Eiffel Towers/Den Bosch until 2012. First season he will be loaned to Aris Friesland which has a cooperation with Eiffel Towers/Den Bosch. Member of the Dutch U-20 national team that won the FIBA B-division this summer. Was voted in the All Star team of the tournement as well while averaging 15,3 ppg (59,6% 2-pts, 53,3% 3-pts, 68,2% FT) and 5,9 rpg. Did make a lot of progress under Austrian Head Coach Raoul Korner thorughout the 2010-'11 season but still needs to keep working on his game to match his upside & potential. |
